But this initial success could not sustain for too much time. As experts around the world curbed it before it could manage to do a massive damage. So the virus could to spread too extensively.

The investigative team found that the developers had also been trying to convince users to download and install rouge applications, filling phishing Surveys and Fake Antivirus scanners.
The investigative team also found that the Facebook played a major role in spreading the death hoax. The users were prompted to install Fox News Application.
Those who had agreed to the suggestion were then advised by Facebook Administration to change their passwords quickly.
This was not the first time when a Celebrity name was used by Scammers to fool people into downloading their recommended tools.
After the Pitt’s suicide hoax, one more similar kind of incident happened with Actor Jaden Smith. The news of his death was broadcasted by almost all media channels. But the news was debunked and declared as a fraud soon after its breaking on Social media.
